Books like milk and honey5/13/2023 ![]() I mean, obviously, one simply cannot love all the poems. I have to say, I loved the poems I read online, but I didn’t love all the poems in the book. Then we kind of analysed the poems and talked about the “deep” stuff most poems were about. She read the poems to me, her English isn’t that great, so it was good practice for her. I was excited, because these sections really spoke to me. When I got the book I noticed it was divided into four chapters or sections actually the hurting, the loving, the breaking and the healing. I started doing some research about Rupi Kaur and bought the book for two reasons: I loved the poems I had already read and the cover of the book is so damn aesthetically pleasing. I read them all and realised later they were all written by the same author. ![]() I was just browsing the home pages where I kept coming across all these little poems with cute little drawings alongside them. ![]() ![]() I found out about Rupi Kaur through Pinterest. Milk and Honey is the first ever poetry book I’ve ever read in full. ![]()
